Terms and conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") set out the rules for using the PaySalaryLoan website, mobile application and related services (together, the "Platform"). PaySalaryLoan operates as a digital Lending Service Provider and facilitates short-term salary-advance loans that are sanctioned and funded by its regulated NBFC lending partner. The specific commercial terms of any loan — amount, tenure, interest, fees and the repayment schedule — are stated in the Key Fact Statement (KFS) and the loan agreement you sign; where anything here conflicts with those documents, the KFS and loan agreement will apply to that loan.
By creating an account, submitting an application, or otherwise using the Platform, you confirm that you have read these Terms, that you accept them, and that you are entering into a legally binding arrangement. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. Who can apply
To be considered, you must be a citizen and resident of India, be between 21 and 55 years of age, be employed on a salaried basis, and receive a net monthly salary of at least ₹25,000 into a bank account held in your own name. Meeting these conditions does not guarantee approval — every application is assessed on its own merits, and the lender may decline any request at its discretion without being obliged to give a reason.
2. Registering and verifying your identity
You must register with a mobile number that belongs to you and may be asked to complete identity, address, income and bank verification as part of our Know Your Customer (KYC) checks. You agree to give information that is true, current and complete, and to provide only documents that are genuinely yours. We may verify what you submit through authorised verification partners and official databases. Access credentials, one-time passwords (OTPs) and login details are personal to you; keep them confidential and do not share them with anyone, including people claiming to represent us.
3. Applying for a loan
An application is a request only and creates no obligation on the lender to advance any money. We may run eligibility, credit-bureau, affordability and risk checks, and may ask for additional information before a decision is made. You authorise us and the lender to obtain and use your credit information for this purpose. A loan becomes binding only once it is sanctioned, you have accepted the KFS, and the agreement has been executed.
4. Loan amount, tenure, interest and fees
Loans are offered from ₹10,000 up to ₹1,00,000 for a period of 7 to 40 days and are repaid in a single instalment on the due date. Interest accrues at 1% per day on the outstanding principal. A processing fee of 10% of the sanctioned amount, plus applicable GST, is charged and is typically deducted from the amount disbursed, so the sum credited to you may be less than the sanctioned amount. The exact figures that apply to your loan — the amount credited, the total repayable, all charges and the due date — are itemised in your KFS before you accept. The Annual Percentage Rate (APR) shown in the KFS reflects the true annualised cost of the loan.
5. Disbursal
Once a loan is approved and the agreement is signed, the net amount is transferred to the verified bank account registered in your name. We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect account details you have supplied, by your bank, or by payment-network downtime.
6. Repayment and early closure
You are responsible for repaying the full amount due on or before the due date stated in your loan agreement, whether or not a reminder is sent. You may be offered convenient repayment options, including an electronic auto-debit mandate (e-NACH) or a payment link. You may repay early at any time; on early closure, interest is charged only up to the date of repayment, and any fees already levied are non-refundable unless stated otherwise in the KFS.
7. Late payment and default
If you do not repay by the due date, additional interest and, where applicable, penal charges disclosed in your KFS may apply, and the overdue amount may be reported to credit bureaus — which can affect your credit score and future borrowing. The lender may take lawful steps to recover what is owed. We follow a fair and respectful collections approach and will never use intimidation, harassment or unlawful means.
8. Your declarations and responsibilities
- The information and documents you give are accurate, lawful and your own.
- You are applying for yourself and not on anyone else's behalf.
- You will use the loan for a lawful purpose and not for any activity prohibited by law.
- You will keep your contact and bank details up to date so that disbursal, reminders and repayment work correctly.
- You will safeguard your OTPs, passwords and device, and tell us promptly if you suspect misuse.
9. Our role and the lender's role
PaySalaryLoan acts as a technology and service platform that connects you with a regulated NBFC lending partner; the loan itself is provided by, and is a contract with, that lender. References to "we" cover the services we provide on the Platform. The identity of the current lending partner is disclosed on the Platform and in your loan documents.
10. Communications and consent
By using the Platform you agree that we and the lender may contact you about your account, application and loan — including verification, servicing, reminders and recovery — by SMS, email, WhatsApp, in-app notification and phone call, even if your number is on a Do-Not-Disturb list, because these are transactional messages tied to a service you requested. Promotional messages are sent only where you have opted in, and you can withdraw that consent at any time without affecting service communications.
11. Privacy and your data
How we collect, use, store and share your personal and financial information is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the Platform you consent to that processing, including sharing necessary data with the lending partner, verification agencies, credit bureaus and payment providers to deliver the service.
12. Third-party services
The Platform relies on third parties for identity verification, bank and statement checks, credit information, payments and messaging. While we choose partners carefully, we are not responsible for the independent acts, outages or decisions of these third parties, and their own terms may also apply to the relevant part of the service.
13. Fraud, security and acceptable use
You must not attempt to access the Platform unlawfully, interfere with its operation, submit false or stolen information, or use it to commit fraud. We may suspend or close any account, and decline or recall any service, where we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse or a breach of these Terms, and we may report suspected offences to the authorities. Remember: we never ask for an upfront fee or for an OTP over a phone call — treat any such request as fraudulent.
14. Intellectual property
All content on the Platform — including the PaySalaryLoan name, logo, text, graphics, layout and software — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. You may use the Platform only for your personal, non-commercial dealings with us and may not copy, reproduce, modify or distribute any part of it without our written permission.
15. Limitation of liability
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for any loss arising from matters beyond our reasonable control, including network or third-party failures. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
16. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PaySalaryLoan, the lending partner and their officers and employees against any claim, loss or expense arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Platform, or information you have provided that is untrue or unlawful.
17. Grievance redressal
If something goes wrong, we want to put it right. Please raise concerns through our Grievance Redressal channel, where you will find how to reach our Grievance Officer and the timelines for a response. Matters relating to the loan itself may also be escalated to the lending partner and, where applicable, to the regulator as described there.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any dispute-resolution process set out in your loan agreement, the courts having jurisdiction at the lender's registered office will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law, regulation, our partners or our services. The current version will always be posted on this page with its update date, and your continued use of the Platform after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
20. Contact us
For questions about these Terms, write to us through the contact details on our Contact page. The registered details of PaySalaryLoan and its lending partner are published on the Platform and in your loan documents.
